PROTECTING YOUR CONCRETE INVESTMENT – INSIDE ACRYLIC SEALER IS A WINNER

May 1st 2025

One of the most frequently asked questions from our customers is this… Do I really need to seal my
concrete?

If you applied Concrete Resurrection WRC stain to your concrete and you want to protect your
investment in time and products, then the answer is YES.

If you chose Concrete Resurrection acid stain (RAC) to give your concrete the rich, earthy tones you
love, then the answer is YES.

If you gave your concrete floor a zingy-blingy color, or even one of the neutral tones, using the acetone based (TSC or SC) dyes, then the answer is YES.

But wait! What if, for one reason or another, you decided to leave your concrete floor its beautiful,
natural gray rather than adding color, then the answer is still… YES!

Inside Acrylic Interior Floor Sealer (CR-515) is a water-based sealer that adds durability and a beautiful ,
low to medium gloss to your interior floors. It is low odor and non-toxic. CR-515 can be applied using a
3/8” nap, lint-free roller or HVLP sprayer as directed on the Inside Acrylic technical data sheet. The coverage rate is approximately 200 square feet per gallon.

It is designed for use in residential interior applications.

Here are some great tips to remember as you seal your concrete floor.

  • Be sure your floor is clean and completely dry.
  • Apply CR-515 in thin coats.  Multiple thin coats is better than one thick coat!
  • Product will look milky going down, but will cure out clear.
  • Avoid over-rolling the material, and roll sealer into a wet edge to avoid roller marks.
  • Keep the CR-515 container closed when not in use.  Store extra product in a climate controlled environment away from freezing temperatures and extreme heat.
  • Tools clean up with soap and water.
  • For extra protection and a bit more shine you can apply CR-520 floor finish over your CR-515.  If you want a bit less shine, apply the CR-520M. (Watch for our blog about floor finish to learn the full benefits).
  • See the CR-515 Technical Data Sheet for even more info.

You’ve made a substantial investment in time and money to make your concrete beautiful Applying a
good sealer to keep it looking that way just makes sense!
