CR-545 Inside Matte Urethane
CR‑545 Inside Matte Urethane is engineered for professionals and DIY users who demand exceptional performance, long‑term durability, and a refined matte aesthetic. This two‑component, water‑based aliphatic polyurethane delivers a beautifully smooth, low‑sheen finish that elevates the look of any interior surface while providing the rugged protection required for real‑world environments.
Designed with low odor for comfortable indoor application, CR‑545 maintains a pleasant working atmosphere without sacrificing strength or chemical resistance. Its high‑solids formulation provides outstanding abrasion resistance and helps prevent common coating failures such as hot tire pickup, making it an ideal choice for garages, workshops, retail spaces, and high‑traffic interiors.
UV‑Stable Base Coat Over Epoxy
A key advantage of CR‑545 is its ability to function as a UV‑stable base coat over epoxy systems. When used beneath a clear urethane topcoat, it helps protect epoxy from yellowing and enhances long‑term color stability—perfect for decorative epoxy floors, metallic systems, and flake floors that require added UV protection.
Efficient Coverage & Easy Application
Achieving consistent results is simple with CR‑545. The first coat covers approximately 600–900 sq ft at 3–4 mils, depending on surface porosity and condition. Its smooth application and easy maintenance make it a go‑to solution for transforming interior concrete with confidence.
Eco‑Friendly, High‑Performance Formula
With low VOC content, CR‑545 meets environmental regulations while still delivering the durability and performance expected from a professional‑grade urethane. It’s a smart choice for users who want sustainability without compromise.
Whether you’re a contractor seeking reliable results or a DIY enthusiast upgrading your space, CR‑545 Inside Matte Urethane provides the perfect balance of beauty, protection, and ease of use. CR‑545 isn’t just a coating—it’s a long‑lasting, transformative finish designed to elevate and protect your interior surfaces.
Coverage rate is: First Coat: 600 - 900 sq ft per kit.
Coverage variations depend on concrete surface porosity, texture and amount of material applied.
Prior to installing Concrete Resurrection CR-545 Inside Matte Urethane, a primer coat of Concrete Resurrection CR-531 Inside Epoxy must be applied. Allow a minimum of 16 hours for Concrete Resurrection CR-531 Inside Epoxy to cure, then mechanically clean and abrade using a floor machine (buffer) with 80 mesh sanding screen prior to application.
Mixing Instructions
Pour a full pre-packaged kit of 2 parts of Part A to 1 Part of Part B together and mix well with slow speed mixing equipment such as a squirrel cage mixer for 2 minutes to completely mix the components. Be careful to not whip air into the mixture, and be certain to scrape the sides and bottom of the can to combine all molecules. Incomplete mixing or an off balance mixture will result in a coating that will remain soft forever.
Application Recommendations
Apply the mixed material by brush or roller to a primed surface with a 3/8” nap-3/4” nap shedless roller cover at a rate of 4-6 wet mils within the usable pot life time frame, as well as the recommended temperature and relative humidity guidelines listed. If continuous outgassing in the concrete is causing bubbles, re-roll the material using a cross rolling method before the material cures to reduce or eliminate air entrapment. If the material becomes thick while applying and sticking to the roller, stop applying and discard the mixed material. At this point it has reached the end of the usable pot life. While applying, keep a wet edge to prevent roller marks. It is recommended to work in sections usually using control joints or cut lines as dividers to ensure proper application results. Do not allow to Puddle! Remove any excess material in joints or low impressioned areas. Puddled areas may not cure adequately and may cause blush or a white haze. If recoating after 24-36 hours(depending on temperature) a light sanding using a fine sanding screen must be done.
Cure Rate/ Drying Time
