Primary sealer
CR-515 Inside Acrylic protects compatible stained interior concrete and helps develop the finished color and sheen.
Performance coating
Urethane, epoxy and polyaspartic products provide different levels of build, durability, sheen and application requirements.
Protective floor finish
CR-520 and CR-520M are sacrificial wear layers used where recommended. They do not replace the primary concrete sealer.

Which sealer should I use over WRC, RAC or TSC stain?
CR-515 Inside Water-Based Acrylic is the standard interior sealer for compatible WRC, RAC and TSC stained floors. The condition of the slab, desired sheen and expected use can affect the best system, so review the current product instructions before application.
What is the difference between acrylic, urethane and epoxy?
Acrylic is a straightforward topical sealer commonly used over stained concrete. Urethane provides a harder, more durable finish in matte or high gloss. Epoxy is a higher-build coating system used for solid-color, flake, metallic and other resinous floors.
Can CR-545 Matte Urethane be applied directly to concrete?
Yes. CR-545 may be applied directly to properly prepared concrete; a CR-531 base coat is not always required. The concrete must meet the preparation and application requirements in the current technical instructions.
Is CR-520 Floor Finish a concrete sealer?
No. CR-520 and CR-520M are protective, sacrificial floor finishes. They are used over an appropriate cured interior sealer or coating where recommended and should not be used as the primary concrete sealer.
How should concrete be prepared before sealing?
The surface must be clean, dry and free of oil, grease, wax, coatings and residue. Required porosity and surface profile vary by product. Follow the technical data sheet for the exact sealer or coating being installed.
How soon can I walk on the finished floor?
Dry time, light foot traffic and full cure vary by product, temperature, humidity, airflow and film thickness. Use the current technical data sheet for your selected product rather than a general cure-time estimate.
