The Correct Sealer Still Requires Correct Surface Preparation
Concrete must be properly prepared for the specific sealer or coating being installed. Dirt, oils, curing compounds, incompatible previous coatings, moisture and poor surface profiling can interfere with adhesion and finished appearance.
Sealer compatibility also matters. Penetrating sealers, acrylics, urethanes, epoxy and polyaspartic systems do not all perform the same job and should not automatically be substituted for one another.
