Use the Flat Flex Squeegee for acrylic sealers, thin-film coatings, urethane topcoats, and finishing passes. Choose the 8–12 wet mils Mil Notched Squeegee for epoxy bond coats and thinner resinous coatings. Use the 25–30 wet mils Notched Squeegee for Extended Work Time Epoxy and other high-build coatings. Always confirm the required wet film thickness in the coating’s application instructions.
The 9-inch roller cover with a 3/8-inch nap is suitable for interior and exterior acrylic coatings, epoxy and polyaspartic bond coats, and matte or high-gloss urethane. The 18-inch mohair roller cover with a 1/8-inch nap is better suited to smooth surfaces and thin finish coats when a low-nap roller is recommended. Check the coating instructions before selecting a roller.
Choose the Quart/Cup Helix Mixer for small batches in quart containers or mixing cups. Select the 3–5 Gallon Helix Mixer for larger epoxy, urethane, polyaspartic, and coating kits. Mix at a low to moderate drill speed to thoroughly blend the material while limiting unnecessary air introduction.
Use only a sprayer that is compatible with the material being applied. The VersaStain and RAC/WRC sprayers are intended for their identified concrete-stain systems. Do not assume that a stain sprayer is suitable for every sealer or coating. Check the product instructions for the required solvent resistance, tip size, pressure, and seal compatibility.
