When diluting RAC Stains in order to achieve a lighter shade of color it is imperative to maintain the proper pH balance of the entire mix of material. Dilution Ratios With 1 part RAC Stain
Add ½ part RAC Stain Color Extender to achieve 10% color reduction
Add 1 part RAC Stain Color Extender to achieve 20% color reduction
Add 2 parts RAC Stain Color Extender to achieve 40% color reduction
Add 3 parts RAC Stain Color Extender to achieve 80% color reduction
Color reduction estimates are approximates. Apply a test sample of the stain in an inconspicuous area of the floor to verify color. It is advised to use the same application method
