Proper Prep Makes the Floor

Epoxy is only as strong as the surface underneath it. Concrete must be clean, sound and properly prepared before a coating system is applied.

Clean & Degrease Remove oils, grease, dirt and contaminants that could interfere with adhesion.

Remove Existing Coatings Existing paint, sealer or failing coatings may need to be removed before recoating.

Profile the Concrete Proper mechanical or product-specific preparation creates the surface profile required by your coating system.

Repair Before Coating Address cracks, damaged areas and surface defects before beginning the coating process.

Worth the money, distributed the RAC stain evenly. Easy to operate and adjust. Easy clean up.

Critical for cleaning up after RAC dries. Worked well to remove the residue.

Better than similar products I got at Home Depot, seemed to do a reasonably good job removing old grease stains from grilling, but a couple applications are useful.

Product worked well. Really pops the RAC color.

This stuff is no joke. After applying the de-greaser I wasn't sure if some old stains and discoloration would come off. This product did the trick. Once rinsed off the concrete looked brand new. Definitely critical step before applying the RAC.

Really pleased with the results. After the neutralizing step I wasn't sure how it would look, but trust the process. After the sealer was installed the color really pops. Will use this again!

We needed to match an existing floor, completed by another contractor.
We made a sample board with Tobacco Leaf and Dark Olive and was able to achieve the match.
When I placed the order to do the floor, it got mess up somehow. I probably selected the wrong color. I called the customer service line, and explained the situation, the company sent me a bottle effectively correcting my mistake. They didn’t make me return the unused bottle. They just sent me a new bottle. I will definitely use this company in the future.

Being able to adjust the stain color by water dilution is fantastic. I tried to match existing tiles through a company called ITEL. They matched everything except color oddly enough. Using one of your stains is going to work out great. Had ITEL had teamed up with your company they could have identified the best tile manufacturer with recommended stain from Concrete Resurrection to get an optimal matching tile.

How important is surface preparation?

Surface preparation is one of the most important parts of a successful epoxy installation. The concrete must be clean, sound and prepared according to the requirements of the coating system being installed.

Can epoxy be applied over old paint or sealer?

Existing coatings must be evaluated before applying a new system. Loose, failing or incompatible coatings may need to be completely removed before the concrete is recoated.

What is the difference between solid epoxy and metallic epoxy?

Solid-color epoxy creates a more uniform finished appearance. Metallic epoxy creates movement, depth and variation, so each finished floor develops its own unique look.

What does decorative flake do?

Decorative flake adds color variation and visual texture to a coated floor and is especially popular in garages, workshops and utility spaces.

Do epoxy floors need a topcoat?
